1. How to Earn Your Grooming Certificate
   

   Follow these simple steps to complete the program and qualify for certification:

   Step 1: Review the Curriculum

   Carefully read through the course curriculum to familiarize yourself with the training requirements and learning objectives.

   Step 2: Complete the Mandatory Training Videos

   Watch the following three required videos:

   • Pet Hygiene Part 1

   • Pet Hygiene Part 2

   • De-Shedding Techniques

   Step 3: Complete Breed-Specific Training

   Choose the breed you would like to groom and watch the corresponding breed-specific grooming video.

   In addition, select and watch four (4) videos from our library of breed grooming tutorials to expand your knowledge and skills.

   Step 4: Complete Your Practical Grooming Assignments

   Assignment 1

   Groom one dog of your choice by:

   • Bathing

   • Drying

   • Trimming nails

   • Cleaning ears

   • Performing any additional grooming required

   Take before-and-after photographs and save them for submission.
   

   Assignment 2

   Groom four (4) dogs of your choice using the techniques demonstrated in our training videos.

   For example, if you plan to groom a Pomeranian, watch the Pomeranian grooming tutorial and follow our step-by-step instructions as you groom the dog.

   Take before-and-after photographs of each completed grooming session.

   Step 5: Complete the Online Examination

   Take our online, open-book, multiple-choice examination.

   Step 6: Submit Your Materials

   Submit the following:

   • Completed examination

   • Before and after grooming photographs

   Once your submission has been reviewed and approved, you will have successfully completed the program.
   

   Congratulations!

   You are now eligible to receive your Grooming Certificate.

   Please note: A small administrative fee of $19.95 will be required for the issuance and processing of your certificate. You're done.
